I am a clinical social worker with a background in mental health therapy, community organizing, and teaching. My clinical experience has centered on working with immigrants, children, and survivors of violence. Hablo español y la mayoría de mi trabajo ha sido con los clientes hispanohablantes.
I offer mental health evaluations for immigrants who are petitioning for different types of visas and statuses. I conduct these evaluations in English and Spanish for clients located in either Maryland or Texas.
I also provide consultation and mentorship for other clinicians who currently work with or want to work with immigrant populations. With my experience as an adjunct professor, I have found that I genuinely enjoy mentoring newer social workers and clinicians along their professional paths.
I love getting to learn about community organizations and local initiatives. I am passionate about supporting community groups by co-creating spaces where we can gather to process experiences and discuss topics like burnout.
